BECOME A BRIGHT CROP AMBASSADOR
Our Ambassadors are professionals from within the farming and food supply industry who volunteer their time to enthuse and inspire students in schools about agricultural careers.
Being an Ambassador
The Bright Crop Ambassador community is made up of individuals from a huge variety of backgrounds, including agronomists, scientists, engineers, farmers, geologists and technicians.
Volunteering as an Ambassador is a chance to promote your skills to young learners and inform them about the unique career opportunities that are available to them in farming and food supply. Ambassadors have varied roles, from attending careers fairs and giving talks in schools to conducting mock job interviews and more.
It's up to you to make your sessions as engaging as possible, which makes it a really dynamic scheme to be a part of, as well as a rewarding one. You'll find that you learn new skills, and could end up developing your own career as well as your students’.
2015 update
We have now reached our target for 2015 and will no longer be recruiting new Ambassadors, although we will continue to support and connect our existing network to local and regional opportunities. Our final induction sessions are advertised on the What's On page.
If you work for an agri-food business of any size, and are interested in getting involved with Bright Crop as an industry sponsor, please contact us on info@brightcrop.org.uk to find out more.
